SUNY is a hotbed of antisemitism and dangerous for Jews. Revoke their Title IX funding.

Jewish students have the right to feel safe at CUNY, and CUNY has the responsibility to make them feel safe. Looking forward to changes in administrative practice to guarantee Jewish and Pro-Israel students can study in a safe environment.

CUNY needs to stop their antisemitic policies in this systemic way. It is abhorrent to CUNY ideals and should not be tolerated there or anywhere.

As a young senior, I can’t believe Jews are in this position. My parents would be 105 and 100. They wouldn’t believe what has happened to Jews in NYC. My mother was a Hunter College alumnus.

Sad to see what has become of CUNY and its administrators, frightened of combatting those who would cancel others.

In the classes I teach at CUNY I address students of all faiths, races, ethnicities, ages, sizes, gender identity, and students/staff/faculty with learning differences. The CUNY system may be imperfect as most large organizations are, but one of the things I have always cherished is its diversity and its acceptance. My classroom is a place of equality. As a public institution of higher education in the five boroughs of New York, our university must continue to embrace a spirit of equality and liberty. Thank you for suggesting that CUNY adopt the IHRA definition of anti-semitism. This is important. We must never forget.
