Please get all the facts before making a decision that has been put before you by persons with a purely political and financial agenda. Multiple studies have shown that anesthesia provided by CRNAs is equally as safe as anesthesia privided by phycian anesthesiologists. Please contact the FL Assoc of Nurse Anesthetists for the full picture.

This proposal goes against what research has proven to be true- CRNAs outcomes are equivocal to MDA outcomes. Let’s move forward with practice proven by evidence instead of legislative pockets lined with money

All the deaths are caused by SURGICAL complications. Maybe the SURGEON needs supervision!!!!!

While I value the goal of improving patient safety, restricting practice like this will nor do so. The literature does not support it.

Allow CRNAs to practice within their full scope of practice.

CRNAs are the safest of providers. Any statement to the contrary can be easily debunked with the slightest of research. Also, any statement speaking negatively of thr CRNA safety record is rooted in politics and greed. Get the facts.

I have worked independently as a CRNA for many years in Fl, including Miami. This bill will only increase patient costs without improving outcomes

It is not unreasonable to demand full scope of practice anywhere!

CRNAs provide safe care equal to that of MDAs. Without CRNAs the country would face a deficit of anesthesia providers.

Allow CRNAs to practice to full practice authority.

Absolutly ridiculous that a fully autonomous, completely competent CRNA can’t do the anesthesia without a physician Anestheaiologist! We are independent practitioners!

Please look at the history of nurse anesthesia as a profession as well as the statistics related to CRNA’s safety as anesthesia providers in comparison to MDA’s. This knee jerk reaction to the “plastic surgery” deaths in Florida have ZERO to do with the anesthesia provided by CRNAs....your focus should be on unqualified physicians and others performing “surgeries” in back rooms after reading how to do it on Wiki.

Legislation always shows up late to help, and makes a bigger mess than existed previously.

This is a classic knee-jerk reaction by legislators who do not know what they are talking about or are being owned by the AMA.

This petition is not based on hard scientific or medical facts related to the competency of nurse anesthetists but on fear mongering.

This is just another attempt of the physician anesthesiologists to limit the scope of practice for CRNAs and spread confusion and fear in the community. Please understand that there is no differences in outcome when a CRNA works alone or with an anesthesiologist.

CRNAs practice totally independent and are safe at all Anesthesia provided.
