Adults can make their own decisions, and your not following any kind of science in opening as swim at your own risk. It is our own decision to ever swim at our own risk.

First off, this is a SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK POOL. Second, please produce the science to warrant a closure. Third, how does the presence of life guards prevent the spread of COVID? Fourth, athletes have been using outdoor lap pools for almost a year now at local gyms and health clubs. The HOA’s role is not to “protect health” via non-proven views, but to serve its residents.

Open the pool! The CDC states that chlorine kills the virus and there is no transmission via a pool. It is swim at your own risk, so let us take the risk.

This is ridiculous open the Pool as we are still paying the same assessment fee for this perk.

CR resident feeling the whole point of swim at your own risk is just that. By next week vaccines available to everyone over 16. No reason to close.

Ridiculous reasoning, as if the risk is reduced by having a 14 y.o. Lifeguard watching and everything is fine. Just open it already or reduce our annual fees, simple.

How can someone conclude that athletes won’t get the vaccine? That is just an opinion not a fact

I am a triathlete that has asked in prior years that the Greenway Village Pool be opened in March to allow triathletes to train for Ironman Texas (in The Woodlands) and Ironman Texas 70.3 (in Galveston), which both occur in April. I indeed consider myself healthy, but have already received my first vaccine and am scheduled to receive my second vaccine on May 29. I don't know anyone in the local triathlon community that does not intend to be vaccinated. Triathletes invest hundreds of hours into training for each race plus a small fortune in equipment. We would not risk our chance to compete and waste our investment based on the belief we are immune from the covid virus. I'd like to know where this idea came from. Please make the pool available to responsible adults who respect Cinco Ranch property, members of the community, our friends, families, and our own health. Thank you.

This is the pool in our subdivision. I believe we should be able to use it

There hasn't been evidence to suggest that Covid spreads through a swimming pool.

This pool needs to be opened. Or give a discount to our dues. No pools last year

Open the dang pool. Greenway is “Swim at your own risk.” So, let it be that.

We moved to this neighborhood because of the pools. I am a triathlete myself and I’m already vaccinated. Who is assuming athletes are not getting vaccinated?

I want to use the pool, chlorine kill the virus in the water

Show me the science in this decision. Open the pool as scheduled at your own risk please.

Open the pool please! This is ridiculous reason!!!! Swim at your own risk means exactly that— risk for anything.
