Colorado Springs Sanctuary City Now!

I support Sanctuary City. Period.3

I want my friends, neighbors and students to feel safe in my city regardless of their immigration status. This resolution would go a long way in making our immigrant community members feel safe and welcome

Don't waste our time and resources on ICE!

We need CO Springs to be a Sanctuary City.

We should all be sanctuary cities

Keeping this nation united, not divided.

The following is the verbage form the Constitution as our founding fathers tried to make sure every immigrant would be treated as fairly as possible upon reaching Ameican soil and wishing to be considered for American citizenship. This would be especially true of those needing asylum from persecution in their native countries. Cities and states are not legally obligated to voluntarily assist federal agencies, so it is time for us to solidify our support for people who only seek to create a better life for themselves and their families."

We need to become a sanctuary city NOW to take real action in support of our immigrant community in COS. Immigrants in COS live with the daily fear of ICE enforcement, of being ripped away from their families and lives and this will not end until the city takes real action to limit ICE enforcement in our town.

Humans are humans, and no human is illegal. The atrocities being enacted by this administration are horrifying and must be stood against. One of the ways we, as a city, can stand on the correct and moral side of history is to protect those who need it. Never again is NOW.

It was about this time of year in 1935 that Hitler began to deport those he deemed undesirable. Refugees should be able to find a place of refuge and sanctuary. People aren't illegal, but laws often are unconstitutional!

No person is illegal. Latinos and natives were here way before any other person! These man made laws are inhumane and unamerican! I stand with immigrants who have escaped unbearable situations. I am an humanitarian first!

This country was founded on immigrants and it's a shame for us to turn our backs on the indigenous people whose land this really is

We must protect our neighbors, friends, and families. We must say no to hate and no to violence at our hands. We must become a sanctuary city.
