Wow need to change it back. My entire clan is opting out because they can't save lix. No one is progressing and many are getting bored

I started playing COC since february 2015. I may say that I'm a very active player of the game, owning 3 accounts at this point.
The adaptations regarding the shield system when attacking are fine for me. What I find very annoying however is the fact that you don’t get a shield anymore when they only take your City Hall. For smaller players like me, that’s really a disadvantage. Everytime you go for loot in a camp, the loot get’s stolen again by other players. Since the update, it also got more difficult to find some loot, because you don’t encounter lower city halls any longer. And being a brand new 9, all of my ‘visitors’ have higher troops then I have. In the past, 90% of the people just took my cityhall and my resources were secured.
So, it got more difficult to get lood, but more importantly, it get’s almost impossible to hold on to your resources when saving for a big update (f.e. Xbow).
So players who are playing COC for a longer time now have a huge advantage to the game, since upgrading used to go way faster. F.e. before the update, I could easely take 2 000 000 on an evening (combo th sniping in champion and raiding smaller villages), and when I went offline they took down my townhall and my resources were secure.
Nowadays, I’m lucky to get 500 000 gold on an evening (not elixir because my attacks are to expensive now), but when I go offline I loose 300 000. I was glad to finally arrive in champion, with great win bonuses, but I couldn’t stay there because everytime my attackers got 3 stars on me + a whole lot of resources.
And like I said, newer players have a huge disadvantage on the ‘older’ players, because everything goes way slower then before.
I for one wille never reach the top of the game because of that, There are coming new th levels, but it's getting harder to get there. I know it's all about business and letting people buy gems, But i think a lot of players will leave the game this way (I know 2 allready).

Update sucks. There is no loot anywhere shield system is stupid. Bring back the old game. Let us farm.
