Inconsiderate to impose limitations, the main thing to consider. Those who are struggling with 1 subject should be allowed to only sit for that paper. Not be barred. They are almost there deserve more chance than those who didn't get through the whole exam. Everyone should be allowed to sit for the exam at their own pace not force them to sit for it as now there is a limitation. Reconsider the rulings.

Please consider especially the number of sittings (4) and candidates should be allowed to repeat subjects they have failed. It doesn't make sense for students to keep repeating papers they have passed. It serves no purpose and this also applies to those who are repeating one paper.

I am a CLP candidate. The board claims that anyone who failed 4 tries in clp is of low 'quality'. My argument is as long as the clp candidate can pass regardless of number of sitting he takes, he is said to have achieve the requirement and should not be differentiate with those who pass in a sitting. Passing in 1 sitting and passing in 7 sittings is still a pass, they are same.

From 2021, they want to implement that only students with 5credits in spm can sit for clp. Ridiculous for working adults who is sitting for jurisprudence degree in UM. Reason for that is to increase quality of lawyers. LOL. The most ridiculous reasoning.

Abolish on the resit of papers which candidates have passed, only resit papers failed. Many give up being a lawyers because of this frustrating rules. Abolish on the limitation of resits.

I totally agree with the above. I pray hope that the Board will reconsider the conditions spelled out. Am looking forward to a positive review.

reconsider the requirement of resits of papers which the candidates have passed and only to re-sit those failed. This would be in line with other entrance examinations conducted by other professional bodies in Malaysia. to reconsider the limited tries imposed on candidates for resitting the examinations. Determination is a positive trait. If a candidate has the determination to succeed and not to give up, such an attitude ought to be lauded and not discouraged.

I couldn't agree more! CLP being 100% exam based itself is already a torture for many students. - a first year law student -

We need changes to keep abreast of new development. Fully support this. Statutes should be allowed.
