We need in Knoxville minimally what is available today in Chattanooga. Treating network access as a utility is both appropriate and has been successfully proven in Chattanooga and elsewhere.

Our nephew who lives in Chattanooga says it is wonderful. We recently downsized our subscription because it was getting ridiculously over priced and unaffordable ...seniors and retirees.

This would be an option to concider if it’s cheaper and better service than Comcast.

Look at EPB in Chattanooga and see how good it can be. I pay $60/mo for 25mb xfinity and no tv, EPB has TV and 1 gig speed for $80/mo!

If KUB could offer it for a cheaper rate, I would subscribe to it.

Commercial internet providers in my area seem incapable of providing fast internet without also pushing unwanted TV programming. We need alternatives.

I look forward to getting an Internet public utility like Chattanooga has. I don't have much much hope for it, though. There is too much money for Comcast and others to maintain the status quo.
We needed this five years ago.
