It's 2015. We need our foundation to remain stable and reliable. That is what Cassandra Wynn represents to all alumni she has lectured, prepared and graduated from our great institution at Johnson C. Smith University. We love you Professor Wynn!

I am floored. She was hard and fair. She knew we as black children needed to be greater than our white counterparts. She instilled a discipline that lead me to gain my fellowship back home. She was amazing. Infini

Ms. Wynn encouraged and challenged me through her valuable mentorship. Truly an asset not only to the Communications department but to the University. Bring Wynn back!!!

It's hard to find someone that actually cares for students, goes above and beyond, vs someone who would be in it to pay their bills (no shade) just stating legacy vs non legacy. I think someone should think twice or rethink this decision. You/JCSU should be able to pull grants or something else if money is the issue.

In my four years at Smith I've encountered many professors, but I can't even remember their names. I remember Miss Wynn. She stood out because she was honest and forced you to be honest with yourself and your abilities and she worked with you to improve upon them. Her straightforwardness was amazing and her wit was dry and it made you think. She made you think you could do great things, which in turn helped you find the confidence to actually do them. If Smith loses her, it'll be losing a piece of its heart. It needs all the reminders of heart and home more than ever as Dr. Carter continues to attempt its dissection.

Ms. Wynn was the professor that helped keep me in college. She pushed me to be my best and was a great role model. She helped me secure internships and assisted me with landing a job in my field right before graduation. This is a huge loss to the university.

I've known Professor Wynn for more than 40 years. She is talented, knowledgeable and dedicated. She should remain at JCSU for the benefit of her students.
