This petition is in support of Bryce McClain and his reinstatement, if you aren't here to support that cause why come on here and leave this kind of comment? However, in the interest of respecting a person's right to their opinion.......
Hi! Fact checking parent here.......Everyone, is a victim of this poor judgement call, players, coaches, students, parents & YES! Coach McClain most of all. How do you think the player that thought he was bonding with his coach over an anecdote feels??
To need to be held accountable for one's actions is exemplary. Being written up or being given a warning...Great!
A temporary suspension without pay...Good! Being immediately fired without either of the aforementioned actions being taken first...Overkill!! Speaking of fact checking, how many facts are you aware of?? These kids are angry & devastated & feel very much like their coach was fed to the wolves TO BE MADE AN EXAMPLE OF in a most unprofessional way. Administration should seriously reconsider their decision and reinstate Coach McClain to his full duties while it's still early enough for everyone to learn a positive lesson, and move forward to avoid any further ripple effect.

This coach needs to be held accountable for his actions. It would not be setting a good example to the kids if he was not held accountable for what he did. Hopefully everyone including the players are given all the information about what happened . We don’t need any false narratives spread to make the coach sound like he is the victim. The students and their parents are going through enough right now. Parents of players need to fact check this situation.

I can’t express how much this guy means me. He brings an energy that’s brings us to another level every single day and we need him down the road for what we want to accomplish. He is apart of our family and he deserves to finish the season with us. You can’t take football away from a man.
