I'll never forget meeting Joe when I was 12 years old in Ottawa in '97. The entire team was signing my jersey and I asked him to sign it as well. He looked at me like I had two heads and said, "what in the world do you want my autograph for?!". But I really did - he was just as much a part of the Leafs as those players were, and I hope to hear him back on air soon.

The announcers for leafs games on tsn and sportsnet are horrible. They do nothing but say negative things against the leafs. Joe Bowen is a leafs fan at heart and I would watch a lot more games if he announces.

The commentary in the games are atrocious ! They were so bad in last nights game against the Philly flyers !
