I have met Mr Bowen personally many times and I have heard him growing up one of the best play by play comentators! We have to have him back!!!

Driving home listening to Sirius xm and Joe yells holy mackinaw, the hairs on my arm stood up and I got goosebumps! No one can call a leaf game like Joe!

The games are not near as fun to watch now that Joe is no longer doing the broadcasts. I sometimes listen to it on the radio instead of watching it on tv just so I can hear Joe call the game.

Though TSN & Sportsnet have some good announcers, Mr Bowen has THAT voice, THAT Charisma that he can be called the VOICE OF THE LEAFS. I would put him up there with Neal, Cole and quite possibly Hewitt. I have turned a few Americans onto Mr Bowen calling games via Radio south of the border and they have commented how well he makes the game seem that much more exciting for them.
