I'm a life time Leafs fan. The televised game is not the same to watch without the voice of Joe Bowen. Bring back the best buds play by play announcer!!

Something's gotta change. Why should the Maple Leafs be animated by guys who simply do not relay the excitement and positivity of a franchise that finally has some young budding superstar talent! Not only that, but they actually sound like they want the other team to win on a nightly basis. The play-by-play need to enjoy talking about the leafs and sincerely want them to win!

Really miss Joe Bowen. Why can't the largest hockey Fan Base in Canada not have their own announcers for Leafs games?? If Joe is a "homer" all the better, team him up with Mike Johnson -- leafs fans deserve better than what we have -- this has to stop -- rather watch NBC than this crap -- wake - up - give fans a break .

While I don't mind Cuthbert and Ferraro, and have no problems with Mike Johnston or Noodles between the benches, I have to mute the game otherwise.
And while I realize this petition is aimed at mid-week broadcast play-by-play, at what point is the smug, and taunting nature of Darren Millard going to be something I no longer have to deal with. If he is involved on a show of any kind, I immediately change the channel.

Need good ol joe back. The other guys are awful. I may even watch in mute if hughson and romanuk arent gone soon. Why....as fans can we not have a say in who calls a game for us. Its our viewing that pays the salaries......get it done already

We love Joe. He brings excitement and a positive, pro-maple bias that fans want. At the least, provide a simulcast using SAP. And we want Jim Ralph too, or Kelly Hrudy. LISTEN TO THE FANS!!!

It is such a disgrace if fans overseas rather watch opponents feed because following home announcers is unbearable and to watch a game having sound off does not much sense, right?
