This petition has been created with the aim of making the staff at Bournville College aware that there are not enough books in the library for every course student to be able to access. The college receives financing for every student who achieves a high grade but how is this possible when we do not have the right resources at the ready? Therefore the lack of resource availability is, although not directly, also affecting the college's finances.

The librarians have attempted to explain the issue by blaming students for not returning their books. This petition will therefore be taken to the Principle, once receiving 200 signatures, with the compromising idea that each student pays a deposit of£50.00 for ALL of the books their courses require at the beginning of the academic year and receives it back if they are all returned at the end which also causes the issue of ridiculous library fines to vanish.
