That children and teachers have a reasonable class size allows for the most important thing at school of all - to love learning. School class size means more individual attention, better learning, group work and happier teachers. It just makes sense to keep numbers as low as possible.

Please, please don't increase class sizes. I volunteer in the classrooms and the teachers are already stretched thin trying to meet each child's individual learning needs.

As a secondary teacher, I know how it feels to teach upwards of 170 students. It is essential that, in the years that quite possibly mold our children the most, our elementary class sizes remain at the agreed upon number.

It is a district priority to retain teachers, as stated in the previous board meeting. Maintaining a healthy learning environment of a small class size will make a difference in achieving this goal.

I do not understand why class-size is up for negotiation. To me, that says quality of education is up for negotiation. Keep class sizes small.

I pay more than $17,000 in taxes. I voted Yes to all the measure in 2014 to raise 48 million to keep the class size less than 25. I am irate that I have to now sign a petition to stop this from happening!!!
