Press should have a moral obligation to report matters how they happen. Press that is controlled and shaped to promote or impede events is propaganda.

Classic Sussex SU, support freedom of speech to the fullest as long as it's for a cause they approve of. Any counter arguments must be censored or banned. Laughable child-like politics, I would now be ashamed to put SU officer on my CV...

Censorship over critical issues of the union must be accepted to prove tolerance. Simply stating 'we are democratic' is something seen globally by institutions and States who say they are and do not act accordingly. The union should respect press freedom.

The Badger is unique in its independent and alternative views as a university newspapers. Censorship deprives it of that reputaton.

I am the head of print at Trident media uk - university of Hertfordshire's student media outlet. I have a strong working relationship with my SU and it's frustrating to see this isn't the case at other publications. If it's in the public interest of the students, the paper should not be censored.

If it's true, it should go to print

It's about time the Union realised that we students can think for ourselves and stop trying to only let us see and hear things that they want us to.

The students union is there for students' wellbeing. Instead they act like cultural imperialists, restricting what students feel like they can say. As a student, I feel completely disconnected from the union and the way it acts. From the outside it appears to be an echo chamber where leftist views have been pushed into fascism.

Very disappointed in the Union, should put the students and their voice before the interests of the more institutionalised elements of the university. But, to be honest - back when I was writing for the Badger in 2010 - I remember similar decision s being made

USSU's response and handling of this was completely uncalled for and flies in the face of everything that universities should be

Campus censorship must be fought and defeated.
