It is unfair to not give a refund even if the class is not in progress. Not only will teachers not only reduce their salary, but also refund our tuition fees. Even if the flight is canceled due to a virus, the flight fare will be refunded. It's unfair that my son can't study at school, but school don't refund the expensive tuition. My money was paid only for my child, not for school. I can't understand why parents should ask for refund the fee.

A very fair and accurate statement. Costs have been reduced heavily and should be reflected in the form of a refund not a rebate against future fees.

Home learning is not comparable to School learning. The Government in Vietnam also anno ced that already. The local school also pay 30-40% of original fee for home learning. Parents also have experiencing economic difficulty in this pendemic period. I hope school also have to share this burden together and go through together.

I feel this is a fair and reasonable request being made as we as parents have increased costs at home such as increased utilities as one example. Fully appreciate the e-learning my son is doing daily at home but feel as BIS is enjoying significant savings in operational costs as a result of the school closure it is fair some savings are shared and returned to the parents for the period / terms the school is closed for access to students.
