Deer Mountain Rose Herbs, My name is Tyneisha Bowens. I have worked in the cooperative grocery and natural wellness movement for many years now, often working with co-ops and stores that carry your products. I have experience with your great customer service and quality product selection. I am calling on you, as a business that is part of the social justice movement for health access, to divest from the state of Israel and discontinue sourcing product from them. Israel is a violent white supremacist occupying state that has for decades now been enacting genocide and apartheid on the Palestinian people. Just as in the battle against South African apartheid in the eighties and nineties common it is up to the people of the world to take action against these human rights violations and acts of ethnic cleansing. Just as in the calls for land back from the native communities and reparations from the Black communities of the United States, we all must prioritize solidarity and dedication to the liberation of people of color under occupation all over the world. It is your moral and ethical duty to divest from the state of Israel and show act of solidarity with the palestinian people as they fight for their right to live and fight for their right to reclaim the land that their ancestors have cared for for thousands of years.

I used to be a customer at Mountain Rose but will be looking to other sources unless Mountain Rose takes Israeli products off its shelves. Until Israeli apartheid, ethnic cleansing and genocide of Palestinians by the IDF ends- boycotting is our non violent means of accountability.
