You are purchasing from Israel, a settler colonialist organization who is actively practicing genocide on the Palestinian Indigenous People. How can you call this ethical sourcing?

As an herbalist, I seek to provide my customers with ethically sourced herbs. You lose ALL credibility by continuing to over harvest salt from Israel and Jordan and especially supporting apartheid. You have lost my business and I am telling all fellow herbalists about your deceit and poor practices. Do better MRH! Care for all communities and all parts of the earth! Any good you think you are doing with the rest of your products means nothing unless you discontinue the purchase of Israeli products.

How deeply disappointing that a company focussed on healing would support a country responsible for such obvious and profound human rights viloations of the highest order. Please change your ways, and discover alternative sources for your products. I regularly purchase from you, and have appreciated your company but can't in good conscience continue until you make positive changes.

I'm writing to you as an herbalist, farmer, artist, and resident of occupied Chinook, Atfalati, and Kalapuya land. I have been an avid supporter of Mountain Rose Herbs for the last decade, but after the continued dismissal and silencing of requests from your customers to stop sourcing products from Israel, I can no longer in good conscience support the work of Mountain Rose Herbs. I ask that you please consider the impact that these choices is having on the community, and the message that this company is sending by supporting and sourcing from an active colonizing force.

I have been buying product from MRH for years and have greatly enjoyed the programs you put together and the community you’ve built. However, it has come to my attention that you are sourcing herbs from Israel and given all of the information coming forward about the treatment of Palestinians, I cannot continue as a customer if you continue to support a country that is attempting genocide. Children are dying. Hospitals and schools are being bombed. Perhaps we shouldn’t punish the Israeli farmers for the actions of their government, however there seems to be little else that truly creates change other than by cutting off funds. We need to do our part here to stand with Palestinians.

Time to walk your talk.

Please divest from the apartheid state of Israel. I will not be purchasing any of your products until you do.
