I own and Herbal apothecary and we do our very best to make sure all of our products come from sustainable, humane and organic sources. we buy Mountain Rose herbs often for our bulk section when we cannot find local or medicinal herb farms for our stock. Please live up to true herbalist values and stop buying Israeli products! I speak highly of your company to my clients when they need a source that is easy to access online, who will ship anywhere. I cannot continue to purchase from you or speak highly of you, until you comply with the call to boycott, divest, and sanction Isreal. We will not stock Isreali products in our apothecary. Please do the right thing!

I am a loyal supporter of Mountain Rose Herbs and by and large feel that the company is very active in their pursuit of social and environmental justice in their practices and sourcing, however, I cannot condone purchasing products from Isreal while it illegally occupies Palestine. Please remove these products from your supply and/or source them from another country.

How can I possibly buy my healing at the cost of other people's suffering? Oppression isn't sustainable. Ecological destruction isn't fair trade. I urge you to realign with your stated principles and track record of ethical business and stop selling Dead Sea salts inviolation of the rights of Palestinians and the integrity of their land.

We can bless all countries involved by econimically empowering the choice not to fund overtly oppressive warring governments. While perhaps the individuals/companies that are being supported may not support what their government is doing, it seems more important to stand in solidarity to boycott all merchant trade at this time so a clear & bigger message can be sent on whole.

Another long time lover and customer of Mountain Rose Herbs that feels the same great disappointment as everyone else that has taken the time to post comments- what more can I say? Please do the right thing, until then I will no longer be ordering from MRH.

Please respect the boycott of Israeli-made products. This boycott is nonviolent, and is the only real weapon people of conscience can use to stem the violence in the region.

Dead Sea salts are unsustainable, both from an ecological perspective and an ethical one. Drive down the road alongside the Dead Sea and you'll see where the water abruptly narrows, turning into a grid of square pools that is ever-dwindling thanks to mining. It's a sight that pains the heart. To get to the Dead Sea from Jerusalem, you have to travel through the occupied West Bank. Notice the Israeli settlements along the way, their high fences, expensive stone houses, and the palm trees and shrubbery that line their streets. Notice also the Palestinian villages, where most of the houses have roofs of tin and there aren't even paved streets, let alone enough water to grow any plants. Regardless of whether the Dead Sea Salts that MRH sells are sourced from a supplier that "contributed to the escalation of human rights violations," the fact that such a reputable herb company sells Dead Sea salts makes it more likely other people will buy from companies that do violate human rights.
