Our county council's continuing disregard for constituents, not limited to the downtown Bethesda plan, is a disgrace. Personally I prefer direct recall of the inept members, but term limits seem to be the only horse running.

Impact on nearby neighborhoods is of great concern along with traffic and schools issues. Buffer zones are not being respected

East Bethesda is a small but lovely, walkable community. We need your help to make sure it remains that way. We need to keep green spaces, have wide sidewalks so people can walk safely, and plenty of street trees. Traffic on Wisconsin Avenue is already congested, and high density buildings will only exacerbate the problem .

Pursuing the canyon strategy is outrageous. Have you seen Tysons? Rosslyn? I have been living in a construction zone for 30 years. Enough encroachment on our quality of life! Enough!
