Arizona's citizenry will suffer dramatically if the ACA is terminated. Please do not repeal it.

My daughter is in college and over the age of 21. She has a life long pre-existing disease. Health care and affordable health insurance is vital to her well-being and her quality of life. To take these away will mean all tax payers will pay for her health care as she will have to seek treatment at government supported clinics or ER. I am asking you to do right by my daughter and by all Americans who rely on the ACA. We need to start putting Americans first and the health industry and pharmaceutical industry second. That is how you really fix our healthcare problem. Thank You

Millions of Americans count on insurance through the ACA. Please do not dismantle it until you have a FULL replacement for it so they can transfer over.

This is imperative! There is no reason to repeal when you don't have a replacement. why haven't the Republicans sat down with the Democrats and find out what needs tweaking and make the changes. There is a lot of time, money, energy that will be thrown down the drain--more government waste on a massive level is not ok, then, the fact that this will affect millions of people, and if repealed without replacement, those people will live in limbo for years until something is out In Place! This is irresponsible on so many levels and an abuse of Americans and their tax dollars. And people wonder why DT won? It was because of this abuse by politicians that affect their livelihoods!

Dear Senators Flake and McCain: Hello, my name is Helen Kim and I am one of your constituents living in Mesa, AZ 85201. I am writing to urge you to not repeal the Affordable Care Act, especially if you do not have a concrete replacement. Health Savings Accounts that are being proposed are not replacements for insurance. What is the point of offering HSAs when most people are living paycheck to paycheck and don't even have a basic savings account, let alone one specifically designated just for their health costs? I currently have twenty dollars in my savings account; tell me Senators - what health care costs can that cover aside from an office visit or copay? HSAs can act as a supplement to health insurance, not a replacement. The ACA is helping a lot people and we've had one of the lowest uninsured rate in history. The ACA covers pre-existing conditions, and provides more health care access for women, minorities, young adults, those with disabilities or mental illness, and those with low incomes. We should not be repealing it, but improving upon it, and fixing the trouble areas, which have more to do with increasing pharmaceutical costs and private insurance setting their premiums. Stop being beholden to private insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies and start listening to your actual constituents. People should not have to decide between their health and whether to eat that night, or their health and whether to pay the mortgage or rent. Many people purposely avoid going to the doctors because they do not want to go in for a routine exam and have the doctors discover a devastating condition that they cannot afford. Assuring people they will not have to pay for any health care costs will ensure people people will visit doctors more regularly and use more preventative health services that prevent more complicated conditions and emergencies. I am a registered voter from Winkelman, AZ. I have not heard a well-outlined explanation of what would replace the ACA, and that is simply reckless. Scrapping this plan will cost us all more and not benefit those of us who need access to comprehensive and affordable medical care the most. You should be considering your lower income, special needs, and disabled citizens first, not last. Please also do not ignore the medical care that women have every right to receive. We make up half of your constituents and will not be silenced about our rights or your failure to represent us.

That the House GOP expressly forbids the Congressional Budget Office from reporting or tracking ANY costs related to the repeal of the ACA ought to tell us something. We're the only industrialized country that doesn't have single payer system to provide for the care of its citizens. This is a HUMAN RIGHT. It's time we started caring for our own citizens and ensuring that they don't have to go bankrupt to get the healthcare they deserve. I'm now of the opinion that all citizens should have the healthcare WE provide our elected officials.

My family would suffer greatly if the ACA were repealed without a better replacement. As a parent, it terrifies me to think about having to forego medical treatments necessary to keep my children healthy. I am losing much sleep over this critical issue.
