I fully agree. If possible, we should fight for autonomy of the temple administration, so as to carry out the nithyapadi kramangal as prescribed by our Acharyar Sri Ramanujar. Income that comes to the temple should go to the treasury of the temple, which should be managed by a committee including 1 or 2 Govt. officials. The temple committee should have independence in deciding how the income should be spent. A certain percentage of GST may be fixed on the temple income, which only should be paid to the Govt.

All commercial activities should be moved outside the Raja Gopuram, We have been compromised to undue extents. Any revival of age old traditions and practices is a welcome sign and should only be facilitated and not opposed.
