Appeal Against Ruda Plan on Green Field Site in AONB

I objected to the original application and my objection still stands. Ruda is plenty big enough for our small village.

Busy enough in the summer with traffic without the need for more caravans. One of the reasons the local riding stables shut down, too much traffic and too dangerous with idiot holiday drivers to continue. Now the village has been deprived of a local tourist attraction.

Ruda is a big enough eye saw as it is without adding to it!

I am a Holiday maker to this beautiful location of Croyde. The village is already congested at peak times, also I think Ruda doesn’t need any more caravans on this site.

Another example of financial greed by absent developers. North Devon would benefit from investment elsewhere.

Croyde is at its limit of how many tourists it can handle the roads and infrastructure cannot take any more.

Ruda Holiday Park is already more than big enough. Many local people can’t afford to buy houses, so if there is to be expansion in Croyde it should be for that purpose only.

Please don’t let this happen I am merely a tourist to Croyde but it’s becoming so over developed for tourists

Ruda is big enough. Croyde needs its green spaces, it’s a huge part of the charm and beauty of the place. There are plenty of caravans already and the addition of more will only cause more traffic issues and will open the flood gates to others building on areas of natural beauty.

Green land and out coastal towns need protecting. Further development of this area will spoil the charming nature of this stunning area.

There are enough caravans in Croyde and not enough green spaces.

This can not be allowed to happen on a greenfield site!

Traffic is becoming extremely hazardous on this stretch of road where I live and further development in this area is only going to exacerbate this. The infrastructure and services in Croyde and the surrounding area are already stretched to their limits in peak times. Further development should be discouraged.

My grandparents lived in Croyde . I’ve been visiting for over 45 years . We have seen so much change & it’s very busy now with holiday makers . I don’t think having more caravans / holiday lets will add anything but chaos in this very small village . Please no more xxxx

The village can not cope with more traffic and people,the emeneties we have won’t either already problems with sewerage and internet , really need no moor cars and noise along moor lane in summer

Not needed or required - would spoil a lovely area and would increase traffic / disturbance in an area that is under great pressure - there is no need or justification as to why the original decision should be overturned

Ruda is far too big for Croyde as it is. I can see it from my house and have watched the site grow rapidly over the last few years.
