Anthony was a role model for all.
He mentored all who he coached and by the courage he showed all through his battle with ALS.
His proud legacy should live for by naming the field in his honor.

There isn't any reason NOT to name it after Anthony Senerchia. Anthony was devoted to football and a positive role model for any adolescent in the Pelham schools or town. Regardless of athletic involvement or ability.

We already have Richie Bell Field and Joe Solimine Diamond at the Glover Complex-- why not Anthony Senerchia Field? The other two men also gave their time and support to our community tirelessly, but it seems as if Anthony did at least as much for the Pelham community. At the very least, the Board owes the community a cogent explanation for rejecting this proposal.

I coached with Anthony and got to know him and his family. He deserves the honor. The field was funded by donations from many of the people signing this petition.

Absolutely my son Jorge is wearing his number in college in honor of him, coach was and extremely POSITIVE influence in my son’s life, coach Anthony Senerchia should be remember every game any PELICAN player touch that field, was an honor meeting him and I’m more than grateful to know that his role in my son life is full of character and attitude on moving forward regardless the challenges that we can encounter in life. GO PELICANS AND BLESS ANTHONY SENERCHIA AND ALL HIS FAMILY.

Mr. Senerchia put his life into Pelham sports, especially football. He deserves to be honored and renaming the football field is an amazing way to do so.

Anthony Senerchia was a tremendous football coach and much more importantly than that, a tremendous man and great role model. His strength and passion for football inspired countless people in Pelham including me.

Very few people have ever given more back to their local, and global, community than Anthony Senerchia. This is a way for our Village to say thank you and to permanently acknowledge all that Anthony was able to accomplish for the world even after he became ill (Over $100mio raised for ALS via Ice Bucket Challenge). His strength in the face of adversity is something that we should hold out as an example to all of our children and future Pelham generations and there is no more fitting way to do so. “44” Forever.
