I also wore Anthony’s number my entire sports career and nothing else. I did not chose this # either. After my late father Anthony Oliva Sr. & Anthony Senerchia Jr helper create and start the Pelham Youth Tackle League, I had to honor to be asked by Anthony Senerchia Jr. Who was a lifetime family friend and considered family to wear his number #44 as he would coach his first ever football team with myself also being on that team. The values and lessons and morals that Anthony Senerchia instilled in me at the young age of 10 carried with me throughout my entire life and every morning I get in my car, there’s Anthony staring at me from the odometer with that look you can’t describe but that’s more the reason Anthony was one of a kind. I could Think of no better person served a great honor.

Anthony was Pelham’s true example of an ideal citizen. From his time in our school system,into adulthood, you could count on him.
A field named in his honor is the least that we can do for him and his family.
Pelham needs more Anthonys.

Without doubt, the field needs to be named after Anthony Senerchia. Honor Anthony and the fight he fought to beat ALS. Anthony was a great person and his legacy can be forever cherished by naming this field in his honor.

Renaming the football field is the least the board can do to memorialize Anthony’s dedication and commitment to the Pelham school athletics specially the football program.

Anthony was a tremendous man , And an honorable man who inspired many. He is deserving of this honor.
