Just this past year, Animal Crossing New Leaf made record sales in the US and got huge critical acclaim. The franchise has always been a beloved Nintendo title in the US since it first debuted on the GameCube. In 2006, an anime style Animal Crossing Movie was made in Japan and only in Japanese. Years later, an English fandub as well as the film with English subtitles have emerged split into parts, but neither were up to par with standard dubbed anime films, leaving the average viewer with much to be desired. I present this petition with hopes to raise awareness to companies like FUNimation that the Animal Crossing community is big enough to be worth their time. Join me and all the other proud Animal Crossing fans throughout the US, and demand the English dubbing of the Animal Crossing Movie!
