Please keep a representative from our district on this board. It directly impacts the students, families, and staff in our district.

Peter Lyons has provided continuous expertise and caring as a board member. Our community deserves to have him continue in this role. Partisan politics should not interfere with critical representation for our kids.

The precedent here is not healthy. We need to look out for the well-being of students, not politics!

This decision was petty, vindictive, and unimaginably short sighted. Please listen to the people you are supposed to be representing and reconsider. It is about way more than you or the time you will spend as a member of this board. Parent of HES 1st grader

This dismissal is insanity. Please reconsider for the sake of the district.

Let’s keep politics out of this and make decisions like grown ups

The school board is no place for petty behavior. You were elected to further the common good and your recent action only reflects retribution and political gamesmanship. Cut it out!

As a board member on the AIU, I’ve seen the tireless work Peter has put in. He’s an asset to shaping the largest IU in the commonwealth, and the students from the 42 member school districts who utilize their services.

Shame on you for putting politics over the children. Peter is an amazing asset to the District. I am dumbfounded how low we have fallen.

I don’t care about your personal disagreements, this is NOT good for PR. If you don’t like someone personally, you ABSTAIN, you don’t hurt the district and remove a leadership position.

Representation on this board is too important to simply give up because of personality issues. We need you to put our children first.

Politics need to stay OUT of our school board. ALL kids come first with the AIU. These new Board members need to put their personal agendas aside.

I find it very short-sighted to remove PRs seat at the table.

Please set your personal feelings aside and let the AIU board decide to keep Peter Lyons, not you. Reverse your decision and let him advance and enable Pine Richland students have representation on that important board.
