Calling for the ADS National Board to Cease Divisive Emails

Druze Society means to look after all mouwahdeen outside our home land and help in building the right future for our new generations. Political party destroyed our home land, and we will never ever let them do the same thing here in North America. Houfez el ekhwan is the main point in tawheed faith, Cora team and ADYA was doing an amazing job and should continue their roll in ADS future. God bless you and keep up the good work.

Political party medling is in lebanon and should only stay there. ADS is our social haven, if you will politicize it, then better close it.

This petition is by no means political. We are taking no sides and back nobody. We are simply fed up and want this all to stop immediately.

I have been following the events south of the border for a while now and I must say that I am not happy with the things that are taking place there and the way the amazing CORA team was treated after all the good they did for the community and our kids. Thank you.

Thank you to whomever did this, the national and international board owes apology to our members on behalf of their mistakes, I was very confident in the new board and president but I do not know what happened all of the sudden, it is shameful ! The ads needs to follow this petetion along with apologize to Syrian familiy and the ones who tried to donate, apologize to the Cora previous speakers and bring them back as they were elected by local chapters, apologize to ADYA and re grant them rights that were given, and follow the bylaws of the ads. Also an apology to the members of the community is needed for misleading information. Either way unity is needed and following of the tawhid path. Thank you

So I will whole heartedly admit I have no real idea what exactly is happening "behind the scenes" of these emails and that i dont keep up with the "politicking" that goes on within our small community (why this even exists is mind boggling to me). I have a very vague understanding of what started this chain of events, but what I do know is that simply reading through the emails that I have had a chance to read has been very disheartening and has made me question whether to continue particpating in any type of ADS related function. I am all for transparency and the diessmination of information regarding the actions of our leaders at all levels (local and national and international (Is there an international Druze body?))That being said the way these emails have gone about discussing the issue(s) is completely unprofessional and is a black eye for the community as a whole. If our leaders or former leaders or whomever it is in these emails have grievances or concerns, they should be addressed in the proper forum at the proper time. If these emails continue I will have no choice but to mark all future ADS correspondence as spam. I for one, participate in ADS functions to meet other Druze and to expand my limited knowledge about our culture, faith and community. The emails and conduct that has been shown more recently have made me seriosuly consider continuing to do so.

About time voices are spoken, out against the ADS national board, with all your respects, it is time to come to our senses, you have done much harm to our community such as remove ADYA voting rights, Previous CORA team/speakers, and spread slanderous emails, along with Syrian donating issue/ north cal. When is this going to end, I nor the future generation will want to take part of such an organization, either restore it all, and apologize , or its time to step down from office and bring out a new and fresh National Board to the ADS.

I highly doubt any other non-profit organization would treat its members the way the ADS National Board has. They are quick to spread hatred and destruction, rather than compassion and understanding for their fellow brothers and sisters. A board like this will ultimately fail, because the future is won by those who build, not those who destroy.

Please stop with the childish and immature emails. It is embarrassing us all as a people. If we can not support each other, then our community is doomed.

The emails I have been receiving from the ADS board are both embarrassing and disheartening, to say the least. I can't believe grown adults have allowed it to come to this point and are acting this way. It really seems that the ADS has lost sight of what it should stand for. This needs to be fixed because right now, the organization looks like a joke. Completely agree with this petition.
