I support the ADYA actions to restore the integrity of our ADS

We need to work together

I would like to thank each and every one who is working sincerely for our ADS .Those who devote time and energy must be most appreciated. Please and please be wise enough not to go back to the stone ages and the sick politics of our Dear Lebanon. Raja Danaf

Politics has been our only distraction and problem in the ADS for the last 35 - 40 years. This when more immigrants like myself came to this country . Fortunate I do not belong to any political party in the USA or Lebanon , while unfortunately 95% of the immigrants are. If we perhaps can keep away any member of any political party outside the ADS - this is the way to go. Let hand the torch to our children the Anerican born children and stay us or you the elderly with politics out if it because you failed . This is an "American" Organization and does not belong to any party or politician in Lebanon , Syria or anywhere else.

We should also include a by-law stating that any board member that tries to bring Lebanese political divide to the ADS should be removed from the ADS board. It's about time we rose above this

We should be united and always take under consideration that The ADS community is belong to all the muwahideen al Duruze and we need to strongly support the new generation in our community american druze society, THE ADY

Both the youth and the parents cannot continue this way. We pray to God that we can put our hands together and move forward in this journey with a positive and with a peaceful resolution. The ADS should continue not only for our sake but the sake of our children and their children as well.

I am so proud of all the youth of ADYA who are taking action to stop the circus that is taking place at the National level. It was supposed to be the responsibility of the adults to assume that role. It is about time that someone is trying to stop this unacceptable masquerade, this childish behavior. I suggest that all the National Office representatives go into a Spiritual Retreat in order to work on their problems and most importantly to learn again what makes a good, honest, trustworthy, unifying Muwahid. Our community needs a cohesive, transparent, and united front to lead the ADS at the National Office.

These decisive e-mails have to stop! It's very damaging to the community. There is definitely a better way to sort out issues, Lebanese way does not work here!

Full support for ADS Youth to immediately assume the leadership of the total American Druze Society with their selection of supervisors and mentors for guidance ... Bravo *****

It is about time.

I saw the circulated emails, but didn't get a chance to read them. My comment might not be relevant, However, I totally agree for the youth to revive the ADS, it is very much needed. It give us hope and comfort that they still have interest in making a good change. We come from our homeland with certain affiliation and culture, let us keep what we of culture while we leave everything else behind. We have to understand their struggle and custom make the ADS to help them find their identity. I don't know any of the board members, but I am sure that not all of them were involved in whatever went on. Let us support whoever there to change and better the existence of Druze nationwide. Those who have other intentions must retire and let those with potential come fwd God bless!

A measure that is desperately needed.

It must have bothered all of us to learn of the depth of disagreement in the ADS organization. I guess all members should be aware of this dispute. In my view, the considerable amount of parties who raised their voices against the board, as well as their collective, respectful arguments, give a real impression that the current board must have committed some inappropriate actions. We raise respect to the participating officers and urge to keep the discussion etiquette in order. We are a very small social minority and we’d rather save the rest of it, instead of dividing it further with shameful practices.
