I am the mother of 2 children likely to use the pool (ages 11 and 13). As a swimmer myself, I would also use the pool.

We need a new pool in Arlington, besides the one at ABGC. We often have to take our kids to swimming pools in other towns.

I think there is a HUGE demand for another pool in Arlington, and I think that having the high school students be able to practice at their own school is vital. Also, it would be a source of revenue for the town in the long run, and reinforce Arlington's commitment to health and safety for all its members.

In tandem w/sentiment expressed on the splash page, we're woefully under-resourced relative to communities of similar size. I'm an aquatics programmer, facility operator and consultant, and am happy to provide both initial and ongoing expertise to help this project become reality.
