There are numerous reasons to combine the dance and the most important reason to the students would be simply for fun. Many of the students went to elementary school together but were separated by geographic boundaries when they entered middle school. They miss each other and they are all one class, the class of 2016, so it would be very fun if they could all have their 8th grade dance together in one location. For the school district it would make financial sense; there would only be one dj, one set of decorations and one order of pizzas and drinks.

This is just a poll to assess the interest that parents and students have.    There is no guarantee that there will be one dance, this is just an idea and we are assessing the degree of interest.  Thanks.
