This petition is being launched opposing the recent front porch/garage extension and 5 meter rear extension to 82 Park Drive, Grange Park, London N21 2LS and will be presented to Enfield Council to urge them to review and assess the development.
This recent development is not in keeping with the rest of the street nor does it comply with the conditions on which this planned development had been granted. The poorly designed development will have a detrimental effect on neighbouring properties and its surroundings. The extension which exceeds the building line clearly detracts from the character and appearance of the building and surrounding area.
The development proposal was granted with the following conditions relating to (I)GD1, (I)GD2 (II)GD3, (II)H15 (here following is one example of the conditions: the Council will wish to ensure that these proposals do not unduly affect the privacy, outlook or amenities of neighbouring properties, nor be out of character with the surrounding area; that a high standard of design will be achieved). See links for a more detailed list of the conditions.

The feedback from neighbors has been consistent since we started this. Please email your local councillor today and demand a formal review of the building conditions at 82 Park Drive. We have to keep the pressure on until the council acknowledges the impact on our street.

We hit a real milestone today that shows the council that our neighborhood is paying attention. Use this momentum to email your local representatives right now and demand they review these planning violations.

Stop this monstrosity now. My light is blocked and it looks awful.

Eyesore. The council needs to wake up and look at what they actually approved. It goes way past the building line.

This is completely out of character for the street. Totally ruins the look of the area and no one consulted us about it.
