As a book, it's the most un-returned from the library. The kids are reading it. They like it. It's relevant. And the movie would have a similar impact.
I was fortunate enough to be on the original cover of 8 Ball. I love that book and everything it stands for!!
I knew the Author personally. This book has a powerful message. Hopefully the production will allow the setting to remain Lincoln, NE.
Love this book! Grew up in Havelock! Sometimes I almost thought the book was written about me, that's how close to home this hits!
8-Ball would finally be the young adult movie that kids today need. The book deals with tough issues without patronizing kids, but shows them there is hope at the edge of darkness and help along the way.

Awesome book when I first read it, even better when two of my children read it and we discussed it. I believe it would make a great movie for all generations.
