As parents, we recognize the multitude of benefits our children gain from attendance at Saratoga Independent School. They enjoy a strong sense of community while learning both collaboration and independence. However, as children approach 6th grade, there has been a historical decline in enrollment with families departing to start middle school in sync with the public school age transition. There has been discussion regarding expanding SIS to include 7th and 8th grades but this requires a critical mass of children to make this a viable plan both in terms of finance as well as maintaining a sufficient peer group to support the educational philosophy of the school.
