My granddaughter loves this school and never wants to leave- her words. My grandson also is a student here with growing bonds. Moving to new situations takes away from focus on studies as well.

Our family would love for Ponderosa to continue to 6th grade! I think it would be an amazing addition for the current and future students. We sure hope to bring back 6th grade!!!

i would love for Ponderosa to offer 6th grade. Our kids grow up way too fast in today's society and to allow them an additional growing up year before the pressures of middle school would be beneficial.

This is a positive step forward for students and the community. Having worked at the middle school for many years, I feel it would be better for 6th graders to prepare for the their transition at an elementary campus. Thank you for this consideration.

I believe that having 6th grade back at the elementary school would be beneficial for students and parents. It provides another year of growing and maturity to happen before the students are placed with older children.

I have never believed that elementary schools should be K-5. Children that are in 6th grade are under peer pressure at this age. Girls at the age of 11 want to be like the older students and their maturity level is not there yet. Elementary schools should be K-6.
