This is not only going to contribute to destroying the natural environment and adding to damaging the planet, but the health of the local residents will be compromised. The dust that will be generated from this mine will adversely affect those who have breathing difficulties and asthmatic residents. The trucks that will be travelling the buckets way will cause even more damage to the already compromised roads and increase the chances of accidents. That road is already dangerous and problematic enough.

I object to this proposal! Consultation with local residents is a start. Not an end point.

This Development application must be rejected by the community to ensure the long term sustainability of both our local & global biodiversity .The longevity of the vast array of Fauna and flora that we are blessed with in the Booral area is vital to our children’s future. It provides their future food, water and air. Drilling and digging to hundreds of metres below the earth’s surface can’t be heathy for our planet nor for the health of our local community. • Application to drill numerous Bore holes of 150 meters in depth & quarrying over 500 acres on pristine farm and natural bush land • Tributary of the Karuah river runs through the land • No impact study on the adverse effect on local native flora & fauna • No impact study on the noise, dust and inability of the notoriously pot holed Buckets way to cope with additional heavy vehicle traffic. The “Statement of environmental effects “ is nothing more than a template completed by unaffected & unengaged consultants and financially driven miners based more than 150kms away. • Notification of amended plans posted on 14 December advising of 14 day comment period (Xmas holidays) even though local community never received an original application. • Numerous inconsistency’s in the “Statement of environmental effects” including the incorrect Suburb “ • These over sights of consultant & Council do little to provide confidence in their ability to responsibly manage a project of such environmental risk It is clear that impacts on biodiversity and the amenity of the local community far outweighs any minor economic benefits for the community in this highly mechanised endeavour.

A sad use of lovely land. We did not know that he bought the land to explore for a quarry. Wish we had kept it. The quarry at the front of the property hasn't been used for years so why would there be anything else nearby that would be worthwhile.

What do we want, no quarry, when do we want it, never.

I live close by and I am very concerned about the noise, traffic and explosives that may be used to mine this quarry

I am against this petition because of environmental issues and also increased traffic along Bucketts Way.

This DA-122/2016 must be rejected on the grounds of: - A quarrying operation on and around Prime Agriculture Land..! - Insufficient "Environmental Impact studies" - Insufficient "Health Impact Study" especially dust impact. - No community consultation being that it will impact more than just a few farms.
