In Braunschweig droht im Querumer Forst die geplante Vernichtung von 60.000 Bäumen wegen einer Verlängerung der Startbahn des Flughafens. Ich appeliere daher an die Nutzer Volkswagen AG und Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt dieses Flughafens: Bitte verzichten Sie für Ihren Verantwortungsbereich auf diese Verlängerung. Für Ihren überwiegenden Flugverkehr ist die bestehende Landebahn ausreichend. Tragen Sie Ihren Teil bei zu einen Interessen-Ausgleich zwischen Natur und Klima einerseits und gewerblichen Vorteilen andererseits. --------------------------------------------- Petition at Volkswagen AG and to the German Aerospace Center The City of Braunschweig/Germany needs its trees for air pollution control, climate protection and local recreation. The Querumer Forst in Braunschweig/Germany is threatened by the planned destruction of 60.000 trees because of an extension of the runway of the local airport. I, therefore, ask users Volkswagen AG and German Aerospace Center of this airport: Please do without this extension in your area of responsibility. For your predominant air traffic the existing runway is adequate. Take over your part of a reconciliation of interests between nature and climate on the one hand and for commercial advantages on the other hand.
