So apprarantly 5sos isn't allowed to use the tally mark anymore because of copyright reasons. But the tally mark simply always used to be their logo and it isn't really 5sos without the typical "one for each of us, and one that connects us together". We need the tally mark back, it actually means something to the 5sos fam. Undefeatable is just a shop, 5sos is a band. 5sos means so much more to people than Undefeatable probably ever will, honestly. They didn't complain before so, why now?
Personally, I think the undefeated tally looks nothing like the 5sos one. The undefeated one it very boxed and square, where as the 5sos on is very curved and rounded. Also, the tally lines on the 5sos one are alot thinner than the undefeated one! This is crazy!
We want the tally logo back because it means a lot to us -- The 5SOSFam. It reminds us how the 5sos starts and how they build their annoyance to each other into a closest friendship like brothers. So I in behalf of all the 5SOSFam we are really begging for you guys to get back the tally logo.
The old logo is on all their albums and EPs, and has been their logo for four years. Thousands have it tattooed permanently. How could you possibly change it? The other brand is very different and it's a universal symbol, why would anyone have to copyright it?
The Tallies shouldn't just be claimed, they weren't created by the person who had them copyrighted, they're a universal symbol. The four tallies represent the boys and the fifth represent the fandom that holds us together. The tallies have been there for three years, so why take it away now ?
