Would be great for young kids to experience watching bowling on TV. Might motivate them to get out there and try it.

5 pin bowling is a uniquely Canadian sport and needs more coverage. It's a shame that Channels like TSN or CBC have dropped coverage of this sport. I remember watching it as a kid and it definitely got me involved with the sport. I am still involved in the sport and would like to see it flourish for future generations. Television coverage is one way to help the sport thrive. I've seen dog shows, national spelling bees, lumberjack competitions and hot dog eating contests on sports channels in the past. If all of those can get television coverage why can't 5-pin bowling, a sport that requires both physical and mental abilities.

With the Western Canadian Bowling Tour seeing such an increase in participation, maybe the step ladder for these events could be given some consideration along with the singles finals for the Canadian 5 Pin Open. Provincials and Nationals

Absolutly bring it back on tsn I missed watching it. I sure did love watching the friends I bowled with on tsn when they have made it.

5 pin bowling may not be an active sport, but it's a mental sport, it may have a negative stigma around t but that's what we need to eliminate!! Stop the stigma!!!

This tournament used to be so much fun and was always a good competition between top bowlers across the country. Bowling is fading away as a sport and we need to start thinking about getting back the people's interest in the sport. This tournament was a good way to advertise the sport and the competitive side of it.
