I was on the TSN youth Classic in 1996 I was 16. I miss the chance to be able to make it to tv. I was also on CBC sports for bowling and they took That away as well. Bring bowling back to tv and give this sport the reciting notion it deserves!
With the UStream for the Ontario Open Provincials along with the 15,000 plus views from the winning shot made by Eric Milne alone; that should be enough to make them consider. The unfortunate issue is funding and sponsors.
It would be great to see the sport of 5 pin bowling back on the air. The TSN Championships were one of the toughest to win and most prestigious. It would be nice to see it back on the air and get some recognition instead of watching a lot of sport reruns.
TSN has 5 stations and they cant find any time slots to put 5 Pin Bowling? The True Canadian Sport. Why is The True Canadian Sport? Its only played in Canada. Hell, was voted #4 out of 50 as the greatest Canadian Inventions of all time!
The pins game was a great showcase for 5 pin bowling. It showed how tough the game could be and exciting to watch people excel. The format made it exciting due to the carry over frames and showed off the accuracy of the players and importance of picking pins.
I want to compete on TV
I would like to see 5 pin bowling get some television exposure again , if they can cover darts then why not 5 pin ?

This is truly a Canadian game and needs to be better recognized. Our son as a YBC bowler has taken us to St. John's, Edmonton & Calgary for 4 Steps. As well he has accumulated scholarship money through various tournaments. It is a great game for all ages.
