57TH STREET UPS STORE MAIL AND PACKAGES

my package was never relocated to 888-c and is still inside the store.

As of March 5, 2014, there is a new sign on the door of the defunct UPS store, at 331 West 57th Street, stating that all mail and packages are now located at the existing UPS store located at 888-C 8th Avenue. I verified that the deliveries from the old store are indeed at the store on 8th Avenue, though they have not been sorted yet. We cannot access them yet. I was told by employees there that the deliveries should be ready by Friday (March 7) in the AM.

I agree that access should be provided, so we can retrieve mail and packages. However, unless we can notifiy the owner of this demand, it's falling on deaf ears. Does anyone know the full name of the owner or any way to contact him? We'll need that information in order to pursue any action, legal or otherwise.

Will help in anyway Ups corp says they aren't responsible and took my information for follow up. I heard/went to/gave my contact info to the usps on 52nd just west of 8th package pick up area as they said they have crates of mail that have bend diverted to them from 331 w 57th. We need to organize. I will be at Starbucks on 57th across the street from 331 w. 57th tomorrow Thursday 3/6/14 at noon-2pm to gather names, numbers, and start an organized group so we can have strength in numbers. Please join if you can. If not I will take contact info to compile for our next move as a group

Heard all packages that are to be received there are now being handled by the usps station on west 52nd. This usps location is so overwhelmed by sudden influx of mail they can't go through their containers yet .... So we wait

We need to have a meeting somewhere and get a gameplan together.

The owner is shameful in his treatment of customers. No phone service for months. He refuses to answer his phone or return calls. If Sean forgets and answers his phone he then acts like he can't hear hear you. Extremely unprofessional behavior from someone who purports to offer business solutions to small business owners.

I agree with all the comments posted by other "UPS store 57th street" vicitms.

This entire situation is unacceptable, holding our mail hostage and not informing your loyal customers of the impending closure is criminal!

Signing and accepting for Fed Express packages is theft. Why did you accpet packages knowing you were going to close? Don't hold our mail hostage! This is your fight with UPS not ours!!

331 West 57th Street, BOX 144, New York, New York 10019-3101 - Holding USPS mail is against the law. Please give the paying customers their mail. Please provide a date atime frame such that customers can retrieve thier mai and be reimbursed for their time they did not have access to the mail box.
