I am a descendant of Benjamin Reynolds and lived at 39 Clapboard Ridge Rd for 29 years. Know the house well. Tearing down a house of that quality is a crime in many ways. The person who tore down the Mead House on Riversville and Cliffdale never built his new house and left Greenwich. Teariong this house down would leave an indelible scar on the owners and the community. Go somewhere else. Don't underestimate the values of our Town. Russ Reynolds

This would be just one more example of the rape of our beautiful and historic town! How can people be so small minded?! It's shocking...

This is terrible, Greenwich needs to protect it's historic properties. Once they are gone, they are gone!

Whoever wants to knock down this beautiful home should be ashamed of themselves. If you don't like this house, go buy another property elsewhere!

this historic home should be preserved. It's size, functionality and character are today, still in sync with anyone's family needs, notwithstanding it's history.
