It is no longer a matter of convenience. It is a safety emergency. At times when the roads are backed up emergency vehicles have trouble getting to those of us on the islands.

I live in the heart of johns island and this interstate needs to be finished! Use the money were going to spend expanding I26 near Summerville for the new Volvo plant! That can wait, we've been waiting long enough!

As a traveling teacher for CCSD I would love to see 526 completed to help alleviate some of the congestion on 17 in West Ashley and on Folly Road.

It is abundantly clear on a daily basis how badly the residents of Charleston County need 526 to be completed.

Finish it, James island, west Ashley, south Windermere are and John's island traffic will flow better. And, safety will be improved for emergency response.

Finish it already. Are all the politicians blinded by the over-development and transportation or lack there of in John's Island to think this isn't necessary?

Finish the damn thing already. Tired of sitting in traffic for a hour just to go 5 miles home.

For those of us who live on the islands, the completion of I-526 isn't simply a matter of convenience or eliminating excessive time spent in traffic. It's also a matter of safety and of the devastating prospects about what could happen to us in an emergency evacuation situation. We need I-526!

If they had built it years ago when originally planned it wouldn't be as costly

Please finish what was supposed to be complete when I-526 was first thought of. We believe lives are in danger without the completion.

The lack of completion is a life safety issue that the state, county and local governments should be held accountable for.
