students shouldn’t have to pay so much when 99% of the resources we would utilize in class aren’t available to us!!!

We are paying high tuition price for the whole experience! Without all the FIDM resources and hands-on activities, FIDM is just like any other community college and it is not fair to charge us FULL PRICE!

Fidm already sucks every student of every dollar they have. Especially with virtually no scholarship opportunities. To pay full tuition for all online is absurd.

In these hard economic times, the diversity of employment from student to student differs. Some of their families may have been harshly financially affected by Covid-19, making security of life low.

The only fair thing to do. FIDM‘s online classes are ridiculous; the tedious work that is required, mainly reading uneducated students’ joke of an excuse for writing and having to respond like it deserves one— absolute waste of time and teaches nothing, does nothing to actually benefit education, and no one is looking forward to this at this institution.

Online tuition and in-person tuition is not the same because we won’t have access to all the resources and facilities as we did when attending the college in person. Yes, even though this situation is out of our control, it should still be modified such so we can still learn at home and not have to worry too much about payments for the rest of this quarter/school year as some students parents might be out of a job due to statewide lockdowns all over the country and such measures being taken to limit the spread of this virus.

I graduated from FIDM last spring, and I can say with confidence that had I learned from home instead, the quality of my education would have suffered greatly.
Online lecture is not the same quality as hands on learning.
If you’re not going to postpone the quarter, then the least you can do is financially compensate your students that are doing into debt for this education.

We want 50% off all online classes! I’m not paying 4K a month to do unimportant work sitting on my couch.
