If the avg grade/passing rate in a cohort in the new 501 is significantly less than the cohorts prior to the change in curriculum, it’s likely the problem is within the change and not within the students

I did not pass by 1 exam question. Exam 3 stayed all students would be credited 2 questions but since I got them right even though not passing exam I was not credited and I would have passed.

I think course should get the same treatment as pharmacology did when it was going through a course revision, the passing exam grade should be lowered to a 79%.

Exam one was terrible. Questions were unrelated and pulled out answers on topics we have not covered yet still did not get points back. Had options to drop exam or not without knowing what the test of semester entailed..

I propose a change in the passing grade from 83% to 79%. This was successfully done with Pharm 1 course when it’s reconstruction was negatively impacting students.

Unfortunate that as paying students we are subjected to essentially a trial and error course, yet held to the same standards.

Simmons is better than this. Take the concerning statements into consideration. We've all worked hard to get as far as we have.

This exam in no way reflected my knowledge of the material. The wording is confusing. An exam with a cohort average of 78 speaks for itself.

501 Exams are the worst so far and the "solutions" given aren't enough to fix the bad exams.

I think passing average should be lowered to 79 til they work out the kinks

you can’t make a new exam without reviewing that the questions are: well written, apply proper knowledge taught in the course, and are ones that ALL of the instructors have seen.

I completely and whole-heartedly agree with this petition and am demanding that something be done. I have a test average of 82.34% just missed the 82.5% passing grade. I now have to retake the whole entire course plus 224 clinical hours. I am a mother of 4 children (3 under the age of 4) work part time and praise and worship leader at my church and I have sacrificed and studied my butt off in this course. I would appreciate if this petition be considered and changes be made.
