I want to start a petiton, and send it to congress to change the rule on base privledges. I am a disabled military veteran that was rated 20% for a service connected injury, and i can not get on the military base for shopping without a sponsor who is active duty or retired. I was seperated on an involuntary status, but yet i cant get on base with my veterans id. The rule should change and allow any veteran access to get on the base with the same privledges as an active duty or a retired soldier. I serve my country with honor, and now i would like my country to honor me by allowing a disabled vet to have entry to all military bases by using your veterans id card. the veterans of today are the most honorable upstanding citizens who should be treated as such. Lets change the rule, and let all veterans have access to the base. Thanks for your support!
