So unfair these students/employees deserve their free mail per day. Especially if they work for 4 hours and more.

Please give hard working students free meals.
CSULB prides itself as one of the most adorable universities with a great education. I have personally spent weeks half starved due to rent and low employment opportunities. Have access to free meals will increase productivity and efficiency for students academically and professionally.

As an ex-employee the free meal really helps because alot of the employees are heading to work straight after class. This ridiculous charging the employee an hour's wage for the food that they help prepare as if the company wasn't already making huge profits of the resident student. I say for profit because the meal plans are ridiculously priced; plus if it was not for profit the free meal would not be a problem since ALOT of food is thrown out. I use to throw out food at the end of each shift that could feed a family for a week. I don't see the harm in allowing the employees a free meal if the company embraces throwing out the food anyway.

Yeah, this is wrong. Some people don't have it like that. Free food at their work place is probably all they have to eat because it may be challenging for them to pay for it. $9 is an outrageous price to pay for food anywhere. Let them eat free again.

Typically college students are on a budget. Maybe you could offer the free meal to students and the discount to non students.

There should be some benefit to working in the dining halls. 15% off is NOTHING. Happy workers makes happy customers.

As a former employee of the Parkside Dining Hall I believe that my former coworkers should be able to get a free meal at work. They work hard everyday and deserve their meal as they used to get one before.

I absolutely agree. When food is being thrown out, it's immoral to charge your employees a fee that costs an hour of their work when that fee is aimed at people who can actually take full advantage of the all-you-can-eat aspect.

Please feed our hard working students. They work hard, study hard and pay a lot of money for tuition, books, housing, etc. most all food service establishments provide a meal or an allowance towards a meal for each shift worked, help our students.
Thank you
Gina
