If you live in Malvern, Malvern Link or Powick a vital public service is under imminent threat. The 44 bus extension from County Hall to the Royal Worcestershire Hospital is run under a £34,000 grant from Worcestershire County Council. Unless there is a strong public protest this bus service will be gone from September 2011. The entire Sunday bus service for the whole route is also subsidised and will be withdrawn as well, unless something is done now. Not everyone has a car, the hospital car park is already overcrowded. If you are a patient, a visitor or someone who uses the bus to get to work, or have friends or relatives who do, you are going to be affected. Malvern to Worcester is one of the County`s main bus routes and the service is an important one. Please sign my petition. And please ask your friends and relatives to sign up too. I can supply a paper version of this petition for those with no accesss to a computer or public display.
