Before Congress starts reducing the publics benefits reduce there excesses... All pay raises for congress will have to be approved by a vote of the public. Reduce healthcare cost by reducing benefits to congress. Cut retirement cost by decreasing benefits to congress and increasing retirement age. That should make an impact on the national debt ! If congress fails to produce any real work this session recall them we hirer them to do a job if they are unable or unwilling to do that job because of a personal agenda they should not be paid. When was the last time you got paid for nothing ,when was the last time you got to decide if you got a raise ? We need to put a stop to one person being able to stop unemployment benefits to millions to make a point ( Thank You Sen. Coburn OK) or 42 senators stopping all congressional business because they aren't getting what they want!!! Maybe they should join the ranks of the unemployed they are so willing to throw under the bus. These people are ouor employees help me to get them back to work or replaces them with people who are willing to do the job
