This is important for neighborhood safety and walkability. Many pedestrians use this crossing to get to school, to the metro, to work. A four-way stop will make it safer!

I couldn't agree more! We live on Adams and Key and sent a request a few weeks ago to the county asking for a 4 way stop. This intersection is really dangerous for all the kids crossing each day!

Other accidents have also been reported at this intersection. It gets very busy: school bus activity, Key students, people walking to the Courthouse Metro station, and of course cars. Let's make the intersection safer for everyone.
How can this not already BE a 4-way stop. You need to address this and evaluate all intersections around the school!

SafeBusingNow on FaceBook. Join us! All the schools need to be safer, the walk zones need to be more reasonable and the County and School System need to work better together to make sure our child pedestrians are put at risk.

I have personally witnessed cars not stopping at this intersection. It's confusing to not have a 4-way stop here, especially during the busy school times.
